Polyclinic, emergency, outpatient care, hospitalizations: from birth to old age, the Morges Hospital offers a wide range of care services. The facility has 240 acute care beds, a maternity ward with about 1,500 births per year, and nearly 30,000 emergency consultations. In total, more than 40 medical disciplines have been practiced within its walls for over 150 years. We are looking for the following for Morges Hospital:
Deputy Chief Resident in Intensive Care (M/F) at 80-100%
Start date: November 2025
YOU HAVE
- A specialist title in anesthesia or internal medicine, Swiss or registered and fully recognized by MEBEKO.
- Clinical experience in intensive care (minimum 6 months)
- The ability to work independently while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams.
- Availability to participate in on-call duties.
- Good command of French, both spoken and written, allowing smooth communication with patients, relatives, and colleagues.
- An advantage: prior knowledge of the EHC and/or the healthcare system of the canton of Vaud.
YOUR OBJECTIVES
- Contribute to the quality and safety of intensive care management, in a human-scale structure but with the challenges of a reference hospital.
- Actively participate in the supervision and training of assistant physicians as well as interdisciplinary conferences.
- Collaborate in the continuous improvement of care protocols, in line with Swiss and international standards.
- Strengthen the link between anesthesia, internal medicine, and intensive care units to ensure optimal continuity of treatments.
- Develop your skills in a training environment recognized by the ISFM, offering career development opportunities within the hospital network.
