Teachers for the Schools in the Asylum Sector
Office for Migration and Civil Law | 20 - 100 % | Chur
The Office for Migration and Civil Law currently has 230 employees at over 20 locations and is responsible for the entire range of tasks in the field of migration, i.e., in particular the issuance and withdrawal of permits, accommodation and care, enforcement of expulsions, as well as integration. Additionally, identity cards for Swiss nationals are issued, naturalizations are carried out, and supervision of civil status authorities is exercised. The headquarters of the Office for Migration and Civil Law is in Chur.
At our schools, we support children of people in need of protection from Ukraine as well as from the rest of the asylum sector on their way to the German language and the education system. Based on the cantonal curriculum of the public school, we teach the mandatory school material. The goal is a possible school entry into the public school in Switzerland or in the home country.
We are looking for the following teachers for the Office for Migration and Civil Law starting August 1, 2026:
• Primary level in Rothenbrunnen (100 %)
• Primary level in Trimmis (70-80 %, split workload possible)
• Kindergarten in job sharing for the kindergarten in Davos Laret (approx. 50 %)
• Secondary level in Chur (30-40 %)
• Special education teacher in Trimmis (approx. 20 %)
