PLC Engineer 100% (a)

Your Tasks

• Modernisations and migrations of S7 controllers to TIA Portal
• Development, programming and configuration of PLC programmes (e.g. Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Beckhoff)
• Conducting tests and commissioning of automation systems on site or remotely
• Integration of sensors, actuators and interfaces
• Performing fault diagnostics and providing technical support
• Adapting existing systems due to new requirements
• Creating technical documentation, including circuit diagrams and operating instructions
• Conducting training for plant operators
• Supporting service technicians
• Active participation in complex automation projects

Your Profile

• Completed studies in electrical engineering, automation technology or comparable
• Experience with PLC programming languages such as STEP 7, TIA Portal, Codesys or Rockwell Studio 5000
• Knowledge of fieldbus technology (e.g. Profibus, Profinet, EtherCAT)
• Experience in fault diagnosis and system optimisation
• Experience with HMI/SCADA systems (e.g. WinCC, Ignition, FactoryTalk, Advise)
• Knowledge of high-level programming languages such as Python, C++ or Java is an advantage
• German and English spoken and written
• Hands-on mentality as well as pragmatic and solution-oriented working style
