The Civil Engineering Section is responsible for the maintenance of transport infrastructure facilities as well as for the planning and implementation of road and civil engineering projects within the municipal area of the city of Aarau.
The Civil Engineering Section of the City Building Department is looking for a
Your diverse tasks as a project manager include leading interdisciplinary teams and coordinating projects in the areas of infrastructure, municipal civil engineering, and the maintenance of the Stadtbach. In this role, you are responsible for coordination with other departments, authorities, and municipalities, conduct tenders, and prepare contract awards. In project supervision with engineering offices, you also take on the site management. You lead your projects to success while ensuring public acceptance as well as compliance with quality, cost, and deadlines.
You are a construction foreman/site manager or technician with comparable professional experience in road and civil engineering. If you enjoy interdisciplinary collaboration, have negotiation skills and assertiveness among your strengths, are open and like to take initiative, then you bring ideal prerequisites for this responsible and interesting task.
Your communication skills, a pronounced process-oriented thinking regarding opportunities and risks, as well as the ability to express yourself fluently in German both orally and in writing, complete your profile.
