The livestock clinic of the Vetsuisse Faculty, University of Bern is looking for an animal caretaker 50% starting from 01.10.2025 or by arrangement
Your tasks
- Ensuring high-quality care, provision, and support for our patients
- Collaboration in the areas of treatment, care, and feeding/keeping
- Regular participation in night, weekend, and holiday shifts
What you bring
- Agricultural training or training as an animal caretaker
- Good knowledge in the areas of treatment, care, feeding, and milking of cattle as well as feeding of pigs
- Respectful handling of agricultural livestock
- Independence, openness, resilience, teamwork, dynamism
- Customer-oriented behavior
- Language skills: German, English, and French skills desired
