The IV Office of the Canton of Bern is undergoing change and is focusing on a modern corporate and leadership culture. Among other things, this is why we need reinforcement in the HR team.
What you can achieve with us
- As a sparring partner, you support the managers and employees in your areas with advice and assistance and advise them on HR and leadership topics.
- You support the managers in implementing our leadership understanding and ensure that our values - empathetic, shaping, reliable, and committed - are lived.
- You accompany and support team processes as well as the resolution of conflicts and change processes in your areas.
- You design and conduct training on HR processes and instruments and help with their modernization, harmonization, and standardization.
- You maintain exchange with other departments, especially other HR consultants and HR administration.
- You lead or participate in projects and working groups.
Which skills are important to us
- You have the Federal Certificate of Competence as an HR specialist or a comparable qualification and bring several years of experience in a consulting HR function.
- You convince with pronounced consulting and communication skills, confident appearance, as well as high social competence, trustworthiness, and resilience.
- With your customer-oriented and proactive approach, you recognize the needs of your clients early and actively address them.
- You remain calm in demanding situations and develop viable approaches.
- Your working style is analytical, structured, and solution-oriented.
- You communicate appropriately and convincingly in German and French.

Annual working time (42 hours/week), possibility to work part-time as well as remotely, paid breaks
- Vacation
At least 25 days of vacation annually, 28 days from the age of 45, and 33 days from the age of 55. Possibility of unpaid leave
