The section for the operation and maintenance of public buildings in the Department of Infrastructure and Sports is looking for a/n employee starting from October 1, 2025, or by agreement.

In this responsible position, you will take on the technical and personnel management of the middle team, which includes the areas of cleaning (IFM) and caretaking (TFM). Together with your team of around 15 employees, you will ensure smooth, efficient, and sustainable operations of the municipal properties assigned to you in Aarau. You will ensure compliance with legal and municipal quality standards and continuously develop these in collaboration with the management of IFM/TFM. Additionally, you will actively participate in smaller and larger projects and maintain a service-oriented approach with the users on-site.

You have completed vocational training, preferably in the field of facility management, and you actively apply your acquired knowledge in the diverse work. Ideally, you have leadership experience and know how to lead a team in a motivating and solution-oriented manner. You are characterized by a high level of commitment, flexibility, and an independent and structured way of working. Your communicative, team-oriented, and helpful nature is appreciated by your colleagues as well as by internal and external contacts.
