The Office for Spatial Development (ARE) is the cantonal specialist office for spatial planning, geoinformation, and cultural heritage preservation as well as the enforcement office for the cantonal value compensation. It contributes to promoting the quality of location for the living and economic area of Zurich and creates the conditions for attractive settlement and landscape areas.
We are looking for a real estate appraiser for the procedural office of cantonal value compensation to start immediately or by arrangement.

Your tasks:
- Contact point for all inquiries and concerns regarding land value determination for the cantonal value compensation
- Receiving or requesting, checking, and triaging properties affected by value-relevant planning measures in the hedonic valuation tool eMWA
- Assessing cases where a hedonic valuation cannot be performed
- Preparing estimates or, if necessary, initiating valuation reports by third parties
- Timely provision of the land values necessary for the cantonal value compensation for the municipalities and the secretariat of the enforcement office for cantonal value compensation
- Oral and written statements on land values in open and appeal procedures
- Participation in process development if interested
Your profile:
- Basic training or studies in construction or real estate sector or comparable qualification
- Completed further education in real estate valuation (FA, CAS)
- Experience in real estate valuation using hedonic models
- Very good user knowledge of MS Office applications
- Independent, efficient, precise work as well as reliability and sense of responsibility
- Decisiveness and discretion
- Service orientation, openness, and team-oriented work
