Assistant Physician Surgery

• You treat outpatient and inpatient patients in surgery, in close collaboration with the specialist medical staff
• You take on a versatile role in basic surgical care
• You are regularly part of the duty team in the emergency department
• You assist in the operating room and learn various procedures depending on your level of training and interest

• You have the Swiss federal diploma in human medicine (state examination) or an equivalent foreign diploma with MEBEKO recognition
• You are characterized by high commitment and dedication
• Your empathetic and open manner is an enrichment for our team and for our patients

• During your training immediately after the state examination, you rotate within the Department of Surgery as part of a common trunk through the various clinics (general and visceral surgery, orthopedics and trauma surgery, vascular surgery, thoracic surgery, neurosurgery, and urology) as well as the emergency department
• A targeted and structured training is offered that corresponds to your level of training
• Support and guidance are provided if the desired specialist direction is still unclear
