The municipalities of Goldach, Rorschach, and Rorschacherberg have taken a pioneering step towards a modern, efficient, and future-oriented IT infrastructure: With the founding of the IT Services Region Rorschach (IDRR), we are pooling our strengths to leverage synergies and sustainably strengthen the digital performance of the region. For the implementation and development of this new organization, we are looking for a committed and competent personality who will take over the operational management as Managing Director and successfully lead the IDRR into the future.
Your area of responsibility
- Establishment and operational management of the IDRR in close cooperation with the operating commission
- Coordination of the renewal of the server infrastructure and support of the public tendering process
- Development of new concepts for the strategic ICT planning of customers and responsibility for the implementation of strategic goals
- Execution and management of various ICT projects
- Ensuring efficient, stable, and secure IT operations
- Provision of consulting services
- Budget responsibility and controlling for the transition operation as well as the later operational phase
- Leadership and development of the team as well as collaboration with external partners and customers
Your profile
- Completed education and further training in the fields of ICT or business informatics (e.g., studies in computer science, business informatics HF, FH or university)
- Proven experience in leading IT projects or IT management
- Proven experience in IT service management and service processes (ITIL)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- High service orientation and process-oriented action
- High initiative, strategic thinking, and solution-oriented action
- Knowledge of public procurement is an advantage
