Senior Project Manager or Department Head «Equal Opportunities and Social Security» (60-100 %)
In the position as Senior Project Manager or Department Head, you acquire and lead projects in interdisciplinary teams in consulting and applied research as well as evaluations in the field of «Equal Opportunities and Social Security». You analyze social issues both qualitatively and quantitatively and support public institutions and non-profit organizations in the (further) development of policy content, strategies, programs, and structures. You are interested in interfaces with educational policy and economic issues. You further expand the field of « Equal Opportunities and Social Security » within our company and position it in the market.
What you bring:
You think entrepreneurially, are innovative, keep informed about current developments in the field, and actively maintain your network. Together with us and our clients, you connect knowledge for sustainable developments.
— A university degree (Master/PhD) in social sciences (e.g., political science, sociology) or social work and several years of professional experience
— Experience in leading practice-oriented projects and ideally evaluations
— Experience in applying qualitative and quantitative social science methods
— Experience in acquiring client projects
— High service orientation and experience in an entrepreneurial private sector environment
— Confidence in presenting offers and results in project meetings, workshops, or to external stakeholders
— Ability to write precise and convincing reports in German and to communicate complex issues clearly and vividly
— Ability to also work in projects in French
— Enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration
— A network among public and private actors in social policy
— Willingness to further develop and strengthen a business area including projects and team
