Workplace Design Manager
Shape the workplaces of the future with us! As a Workplace Design Manager, you develop innovative concepts for needs-based, flexible, and sustainably appealing work environments in the cantonal administration of Zurich. You combine strategic thinking with design expertise and shape the transformation towards modern, user-centered workplaces, both conceptually and in design.
Your tasks
- Development and further development of workplace strategies
- Definition of design standards and guidelines for future-proof, user-centered work environments
- Responsibility for leading and implementing workplace and interior design projects, depending on project size as project manager or as the responsible representative of the real estate office towards internal and external project participants
- Ensuring compliance with design standards, sustainability goals, and user centricity
- Coordination of interdisciplinary project teams and quality assurance in the implementation of work environments
Your profile
- A completed degree in interior architecture, workplace management, or a related field
- Several years of professional experience in the development and implementation of workplace and interior design concepts, ideally in the public sector or a comparable organization
- Understanding of the relationships between people, space, and technology
- Ability to work in a structured and forward-looking manner - and to keep an overview even in complex projects
- Willingness to take responsibility, both for your projects and for the further development of standards and processes in workplace design
