Transport Manager Switzerland (m/f) 100%
Your tasks
- Strategic and economic overall responsibility for the transport sector Switzerland including transport strategy, network design, make-or-buy decisions, and cost control
- Optimization and management of transport operations: routes, fleet development, own/third-party transports as well as selection and performance of external logistics partners
- Leadership and further development of the transport teams as well as ensuring service levels, occupational safety, and compliance
Your qualifications
- Several years of leadership experience in the transport or logistics environment
- Solid practical experience in dispatching, route planning, and transport management
- Proven success in optimizing transport costs and fleets
- Higher education in transport, logistics, or supply chain management
- Entrepreneurial, analytical thinking and decisiveness
- Negotiation-level communication skills in German and French (at least B2)
