The Ancillary Services & Analytics team is responsible for the entire market-based procurement of system services for the transmission grid. The team operates the entire system services market by conducting the entire prequalification of companies and their plants and also operates and further develops the platform. Additionally, the team is responsible for reporting and creates analyses of the purchased services, which are used for reporting to management as well as to authorities (ElCom). Finally, the team actively participates in product development projects and creates new concepts themselves.

Ensuring electricity in Switzerland
In this versatile internship, you take responsibility for operational processes and ensure their operation. Additionally, you will particularly take on the following tasks:
- Supporting the team with ongoing administrative and/or technical tasks
- Active participation in the prequalification of system service providers and power plants
- Developing various technical or economic analyses
- Assisting with technical and/or administrative contributions to ongoing project management
- Responsible for everyday processes to continuously develop them in terms of technical and financial improvement
- Active involvement in the development of new concepts, whether technical or organizational

For this exciting position, we are looking for a person who is able to quickly and independently familiarize themselves with new subject areas, apply theoretical knowledge in practice, and grasp larger contexts. Furthermore, you have an independent, precise, and analytical way of working. You also bring the following:
- A technical or economic university or university of applied sciences degree (Bachelor or Master)
- Interest in the operation of the Swiss transmission grid
- Very good German and/or French skills and good English skills
