The Office for Labor (AFA) strengthens the economic and labor location Zurich – with around 650 employees at over 20 locations.
In the Unemployment Insurance Department (ALV / KAST), we ensure that the federal law on compulsory unemployment insurance and insolvency compensation is implemented uniformly and fairly in the canton of Zurich.
Your tasks:
- You independently handle diverse insurance cases – from sanctions to orders to waiver requests
- You formulate appealable orders that are legally and linguistically convincing
- You obtain relevant documents and conduct interviews with insured persons
- You maintain close contact with insured persons, employers, unemployment funds, RAV, as well as internal and external partners
Your profile
- A completed commercial basic education or equivalent training
- At least three years of experience in qualified case processing, ideally in the (social) insurance sector
- Further training in social insurance is a plus
- Very good MS Office skills and confident communication in German – both written and spoken
- Enjoyment in dealing with different stakeholders
- Analytical thinking, structured working method, and a good sense of priorities
