Junior Sous Chef (m/f/d)

In the versatile and responsible role as Junior Sous Chef, your duties will include:

• Supporting the planning and organization of daily kitchen operations
• Determining food requirements and placing orders
• Collaborating on offers and menu design in coordination with supervisors
• Ensuring smooth production processes from mise en place to service
• Maintaining consistently high food quality according to the hotel's standards
• Complying with all hygiene regulations and food law requirements
• Proper handling of machines, equipment, and tools
• Checking goods receipt and quality of delivered products
• Quality control of plated dishes at the pass (recipe adherence, taste, presentation)
• Motivating, guiding, and supporting the kitchen brigade
• Participating in the training of apprentices and further development of the team
• Responsible participation in cleaning and order standards throughout the kitchen

You convince us with the following qualities:

• Completed training as a cook EFZ (or equivalent qualification)
• Several years of professional experience in upscale gastronomy
• Initial leadership experience is an advantage
• Strong quality awareness and attention to detail
• Organizational skills and high sense of responsibility
• Social competence, role model function, and motivating working style
• Team spirit and enjoyment of working in an international brigade
• Very good understanding of hygiene and cleanliness
• Creative, innovative, resilient, and flexible
• Reliable, structured, and careful working method
• Good language skills in German, ideally French knowledge
