What you achieve

• Further development and operational management of the actuarial database used within the IFRS 17 closing process of the Helvetia Baloise Group
• Coordination of the actuarial closing process at group level including alignment with other finance functions such as accounting and controlling as well as group companies
• Support of actuarial system integrations within the Helvetia-Baloise integration project
• Monitoring and quality assurance of database functions as well as support of actuarial reporting from the database (e.g. using Power BI dashboards)
• Further development and optimisation of actuarial life insurance monitoring at group level, including participation in reporting to group management
• Support and analysis of group companies regarding actuarial issues and KPIs including actuarial monitoring

What you bring

• Degree in mathematics, physics or another quantitative discipline
• Advanced database knowledge and IT affinity
• Experience/knowledge in IFRS 17, actuarial mathematics, and life insurance products is an advantage
• Confident communication, independent working style, team-oriented and committed
• Project management skills
• Very good German and good English skills
