Your Tasks and Perspectives
- Co-responsibility for the implementation and assurance of high-quality, professional nursing and care in the postpartum ward
- Promotion of family- and development-supportive care in the implementation of professional concepts in the postpartum period
- Support, advice, and accompaniment of mothers and fathers on questions about breastfeeding, development-supportive care of newborns, and health care
- Recognizing, accompanying, and caring for challenging situations and collaborating in the interprofessional team and with other professionals such as social services or mother counseling
- Professional support of nurses in the postpartum ward
- Close exchange with the head nurse and nursing experts, as well as collaboration in the interprofessional obstetrics team
- Participation in the obstetrics expert committee HOCH and co-design and further development of nursing standards in the area of postpartum and obstetrics
- Participation in interdisciplinary meetings as well as case discussions to coordinate nursing and treatment plans
What You Bring to This Position
- Training as a certified nurse AKP / DNII / HF / FH with experience in obstetrics and postpartum care
- Proven further training in the field of obstetrics and postpartum care
- Clinical Assessment or willingness to complete this course
- Independent, responsible, and flexible working style, as well as constant motivation to further develop in the areas of breastfeeding counseling, postpartum care, or family-oriented care
- Empathetic personality with high social competence and composure
- High flexibility and adaptability in daily routine management
