Job Description
For the Industry business unit and other business areas, we are looking for an experienced technician for material testing and customer support. You will conduct internal material tests and develop specific knowledge with our automated or manual dosing and bonding systems. This know-how not only helps us to quickly develop our products to series maturity but also enables us to advise and support customers from A to Z during material introduction. In our diverse and highly dynamic market fields such as e-mobility, automotive, facade, or industry, your experience with customers is in demand to ensure the fastest and smoothest project implementation or market launch possible.
Main tasks:
- Testing adhesives with pump systems or robot application and determining material and system requirements
- Advising customers regarding adhesive processing and system setup
- Accompanying trials or material changes at the customer
- Creating technical documents for proper adhesive processing
- Training users in processing technology
- International travel activity (approx. 20-30%)
Qualifications
- Mechanical training (mechanic, automation technician, apparatus builder, service technician / mechanical engineering)
- At least 3-5 years of professional experience in the mechanical-technical field
- Practical person with inventiveness and self-drive
- Initial experience with automation (robotics) welcome
- Fluent in German and English, other languages welcome
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Preferred
- Professional experience in the field of adhesive pumps is an advantage
