At the reception and guest service of Museum Lucerne, you are in the middle of a lively, varied environment, meet guests daily, and contribute to a special visitor experience.
Your tasks
- The museum visit begins with your advice and the sale of admission tickets, where you respond to different needs.
- You take questions about exhibitions and events, explain offers clearly, and organize bookings for individuals, school classes, and groups.
- Calls are answered by you in a friendly manner to quickly resolve customer needs.
- At the end of the day, you keep an overview of income and sales and ensure a clean closing with the daily accounting.
- After the museum closes, you ensure with a final round that the day ends calmly and orderly.
- Occasional evening shifts and at vernissages complete this position.
Your profile
- A successfully completed education forms the basis for your professional, service-oriented, and attentive demeanor in contact with guests.
- You conduct conversations confidently in English; knowledge of French is a welcome plus.
- Lucerne, the region, and the museum landscape are familiar to you and naturally flow into your advice.
- You work confidently with Microsoft Office and learn new digital systems openly and pragmatically.
- Responsibility, accuracy, and reliability characterize your working style even in lively situations.
