Co-Educator 100%

To complement our «Fugu» daycare team in Rapperswil-Jona, we are looking for a co-educator 100% starting immediately or by arrangement.

«Fugu» daycares are a private operation aiming to expand family-supportive childcare at attractive locations. Our daycare is located in Rapperswil-Jona, very close to the Sonnenhof bus stop with lines 621, 885, 992, 993, and 994. The train station and city center are easily reachable on foot. We have 500 m2 of bright and child-friendly rooms on two floors as well as a garden with a large play area. Our cook provides delicious and healthy menus daily for the children and all staff. The daycare is organized into 4 groups. Opening hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

When children play, jump, and laugh, you finally find peace. As a co-educator, you give your full commitment across several groups and are a valuable support for the group leaders. You represent the group leaders during their vacation absences and demonstrate your leadership skills. Continuing education is a matter of course for us. TASKS

• Care and support of children in everyday life
• Constructive collaboration with the group leadership and support in daily routines
• Assistance in planning and conducting excursions
• Assistance in planning and implementing regular parent events
• Professional work with parents
• Independent management of the children’s group according to our educational principles as well as independent assumption of all related tasks during the absence of the group leader

REQUIREMENTS

• Completed training as a childcare specialist EFZ, specializing in childcare
• Resilience and great commitment in working with children
• Reliable, independent, and organized working style
• Motivation, joy, and interest in working with children and the team
• Positive and professional demeanor
