About the job
The municipality of Zermatt has around 6,000 inhabitants. It is the largest tourist municipality in the Alpine region. Around 170 employees ensure an efficient and citizen-orientedpublic service.
With the projects in the Spiss area, the municipality of Zermatt is implementing a central development focus. These include, among others, the adjustment of the zoning plan, the Gruebe logistics center, the new depot, the Ried forest road with piste restoration, traffic management, the new Eldorado bridge, and the northern bus turning area.

Your area of responsibility
Your skills
Overall coordination and management of all
Completed technical education at
subprojects in the Spiss area
FH/ETH level (e.g., civil engineering,
spatial planning, architecture or comparable)
Creation and maintenance of the overall project planning as well as ensuring synergies
Several years of experience in managing and dependencies of complex construction or infrastructure projects
Representation of the municipality as the client
Knowledge of public procurement and central contact person for external planners, engineers, and contractors
Willingness to quickly familiarize yourself
Preparation of tenders, obtaining and evaluating offers, support of
studies and construction projects
Confident appearance and stylistically secure, target group-oriented communication and assessment of offers
Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
Cost, schedule, and quality control
Resilience, teamwork, and organizational talent
Development of decision-making bases and regular reporting to the municipal council and administrative management
