The Take-Away is a lively gastronomy business in the Monbijou district in Bern. We offer freshly prepared meals from Monday to Friday at lunchtime. Furthermore, CONTACT take a way is a sought-after aperitif caterer. As a somewhat different take-away, we offer jobs for young adults with problematic substance use or people with a history of addiction who want to acquire the necessary social, communicative, and professional skills in a protected environment and take first steps towards reintegration into the primary labor market.

Your tasks are:

• Managing the Take-Away
• Personnel management and participation in personnel recruitment
• Support of clients at the workplace
• Active participation in daily business in the kitchen and at the buffet
• Preparation of meals
• Menu planning
• Participation in budget preparation in cooperation with the department management
• Implementation of the operating concept, compliance with HACCP
• Further development of the offer

You bring with you:

• You have leadership experience and assertiveness
• You have gained experience in gastronomy
• Organizing comes easily to you
• You love dealing with guests and are service-oriented
• You are interested in working with young people with non-linear life paths
• You maintain transparent and clear communication
• You have high social and self-competence
• You have completed a course as a vocational trainer
• You have a catering license or are willing to obtain one
• You have a category B driver's license
