Internship : Data Migration

Description
We are looking for a Data Migration Intern with a strong DBA orientation to strengthen our team and support technical activities.

• Analyze source and target data (models, business rules).
• Develop SQL scripts for ETL (extraction, transformation, loading).
• Configure and monitor SSIS processes (SQL Server / Visual Studio).
• Contribute to SQL administration and performance (query tuning, indexing, monitoring).
• Participate in dry runs, quality checks, and functional validation.
• Investigate and resolve migration issues.
• Document technical and migration procedures.
• Collaborate with BAs, developers, and the DBA.

Training & Mentorship

• Direct supervision by our Expert DBA: learning best DBA practices, overseeing SQL tasks, SQL/SSIS code reviews, and progressing towards a Junior DBA role.-

Skills required

• Student in Computer Science / Information Systems / Engineering.
• Solid foundations in SQL and relational databases.
• Strong interest in database administration and data quality.
• Rigorous, analytical mindset, curious, and a team player.
• MS SQL Server, SSIS, Visual Studio.
• Python (automation, control/loading scripts).
• Basic knowledge of SQL performance optimization.
