Project Manager Agricultural Building Construction and Housing Promotion
Office for Agriculture and Geoinformation | 80-100% | Chur
The Office for Agriculture and Geoinformation is a department of the Department of Economic Affairs and Social Affairs. It combines the four divisions of agricultural measures, structural improvements, surveying, and the GIS competence center under one roof.
In the building construction division of the structural improvements department, you actively contribute to the sustainable development of rural areas. Your diverse range of tasks includes agricultural building construction, housing promotion, and regional development projects. You oversee the renovation and new construction of barn buildings, alpine renovations, and processing companies, and are also responsible for the renovation and construction of residential buildings in the mountain region. Furthermore, you coordinate cooperation with cantonal and federal specialist offices, advise sponsors and architectural firms, and ensure professional implementation of projects. Your work offers exciting insights into different specialist areas and the diverse regions of Graubünden.

For the building construction division, we are looking for a Project Manager Agricultural Building Construction and Housing Promotion to start immediately or by arrangement.
Your area of responsibility
- Supervision of building construction projects in technical, administrative, and financial respects
- Support for clients and planning offices
- Processing of subsidy applications
- Review of funding applications within the framework of cantonal housing promotion
- Participation in national and cantonal working groups and committees for the further development of funding instruments
What we expect from you
- University or university of applied sciences degree in architecture, agronomy, or a comparable field, or a completed advanced training, e.g., as a construction technician or agricultural technician
- Strong communication skills and confident demeanor
- Structured, solution-oriented, and conceptual thinking and working style
- Strong service orientation, team spirit, commitment, and initiative
- Very good knowledge of German, other cantonal languages are an advantage
