To influence the latter, we are looking for a HR Business Partner for our Tech teams.
In this role, you will advise Meteomatics managers and employees on strategic and operational issues relating to all HR-related topics. With your expertise and motivation you will help shape this multicultural, international and fast-growing department at Meteomatics.
What you'll do
Strategic Partnership
- Partner with Tech and Product leaders to align people strategies with business goals and scaling needs.
- Advise managers on organization design, workforce planning, and talent development.
- Identify and address people-related needs before they become challenges.
Employee Experience & Engagement
- Foster a culture of trust, transparency, and inclusion.
- Lead initiatives to improve engagement, retention, and team performance.
- Mediate and resolve employee relations issues with empathy and objectivity.
Talent Development
- Coach managers in performance management, career development, and feedback conversations.
- Identify high-potential talent and collaborate on growth and succession plans.
- Identify and organize training initiatives for managers and teams.
HR Operations & Compliance
- Partner with the People Ops team to ensure smooth HR processes (e.g., onboarding, compensation cycles, time tracking).
- Provide insights using HR data and metrics to support data-driven decision-making.
Change Management
- Support leaders through managing organizational change and transformation initiatives.
- Champion Meteomatics’ culture and values, fostering trust, scalability, and collaboration across locations.
What you'll bring
- 5+ years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in an HRBP or similar advisory role.
- Proven success supporting Tech or Product teams in a tech scale-up or fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong understanding of employment law, employee relations, and organizational design.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills — able to influence and build credibility at all levels.
- A data-informed mindset with the ability to translate people insights into practical actions.
- Proactive, solution-oriented approach with a high degree of emotional intelligence.
- Experience in working with international and distributed teams
- Excellent communication skills in English & German
- You can identify with the Meteomatics culture and quality principles and are going to actively contribute to them
