Control and monitoring of buildings, the power plant area, and the forecourt (patrol service), security police interventions if necessary

Control of persons, luggage, and materials

Operation of technical security devices and checking their functionality

Verification, evaluation, and processing of reports and alarms

Working in shifts

Profile and Skills

Completed vocational training

Completed training as a security guard with a federal certificate or equivalent training is an advantage

Willingness for uniformed and armed security service

Suitability for the role of operational guard, particularly personal maturity, pronounced perception ability, shift work suitability, as well as physical and mental fitness

German as a native language

You will take on the diverse protection and security tasks both in the power plant area and in the security-relevant surroundings of the Beznau nuclear power plant and ZWILAG. The operational guard continues to take on monitoring tasks even years beyond the operational period.

About the Team

The operational guard of the Beznau nuclear power plant is responsible for the continuous surveillance of access to the security area. They operate technical security devices and check their functionality. The operational guard works in a 24-hour shift operation. As part of the job responsibilities, we promote continuous on-the-job learning. The working atmosphere in the various guard teams is characterized by flexibility, reliability, mutual appreciation, and open communication.
