For our client F. Hoffmann – La Roche Ltd, we are looking for a committed and reliable personality as a Maintenance Mechanic (m/f/d) at the Kaiseraugst location (PTGA). In this role, you are responsible for GMP-compliant maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of highly automated production equipment in the Solids DP area (manufacturing of tablets, capsules, and powder filling).
You ensure the mechanical availability of the equipment, independently carry out planned maintenance, and support the optimization of technical processes and maintenance plans. In addition, you actively participate in continuous improvement measures (CIP) and the implementation of lean methods.

Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Responsibility for GMP-compliant maintenance/repair and troubleshooting of production equipment within the Solids DP value stream, which is responsible for the manufacture of tablets, capsules, and powder filling into bottles
- Responsibility for the mechanical availability of process equipment, including production support, troubleshooting, maintenance, and problem-solving on highly automated systems (First Level Support)
- Assistance in increasing equipment availability
- Independent execution of planned maintenance activities
- Creation and optimization of maintenance plans
- Participation in the creation and optimization of SOPs
- Safe work in a GMP environment and GMP-compliant documentation
- Independent development and implementation of minor equipment optimizations in compliance with "Technical Change Management"
- Participation and implementation of continuous improvement measures (CIP)
- Willingness to work in a 2-shift system and on-call duty
- Willingness to work in a self-organized team with a high degree of personal responsibility in an open and collaborative environment
- Together with the team, drive and live LPS methods and tools in daily business
- Contribute ideas to improve quality, equipment efficiency, cost reduction of processes, and participate in and implement continuous improvement measures (CIP)
Requirements:
- Completed vocational training as a maintenance mechanic or comparable training
- Professional experience in pharmaceutical production, development, quality assurance and control, or a similar industry
- 3 years of professional experience in maintenance, ideally in pharmaceutical production or a highly regulated environment
- Confident handling of IT systems (e.g., secure use of Google and standard PC programs)
- Very good communication skills in spoken and written German
- Quick comprehension and great interest in technical processes
- High willingness and curiosity to develop flexibly and learn cross-departmentally in the sense of polyvalence
- A team-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous process improvement and the ability to deliver consistent high performance in a constantly changing environment
- Knowledge and committed use regarding process improvements (e.g., Lean Production System) as well as Agile Management are advantageous
- Ability and openness to recognize and embrace the opportunities and benefits of change. Interest in coaching and change management is an advantage in this regard
- High team spirit and solution orientation as well as collaborative working style
- Forward-thinking and acting and pronounced conceptual skills
- Precise and reliable working style even under time pressure
- Confident use of standard PC programs
Nice to haves:
- Knowledge of the SAP-PM module
- English skills
- GMP experience
