The Social Counseling and Benefits Section of the Social Services Department is looking for a
Intern Social Counseling for a second internship of 12 months (60%) starting February 1, 2026
Your main tasks
- You advise, support, and accompany individuals and families in the area of personal and material assistance.
- In cooperation with the administration team, you clarify social assistance entitlement, assess it, and allocate social assistance benefits according to SKOS and social assistance law.
- You work interdisciplinarily with numerous institutions in the social and health sectors.
- Together with the social assistance recipients, you ensure that subsidiary benefits are clarified and claimed if necessary.
- In collaboration with your clients, you develop perspectives and action plans for sustainable support in social, health, and professional areas.
- You actively participate in exchange forums of the social work and social counseling team.
- You contribute your own ideas and inputs to the social work team to ensure high professionalism and expertise.
