IP Counsel

To strengthen our global Intellectual Property Team, we are seeking at our global operational headquarters in Greifensee, Zurich an IP Counsel 80 – 100 % (all genders).In this role, your responsibilities would include: You are responsible for actively managing Mettler Toledo's IP portfolio for assigned business areas.You provide strategic advice on IP matters to internal stakeholders to support business objectives.You oversee prior art searches and freedom-to-operate analyses to aid in product development and commercialization strategies.You draft some European patent applications in-house while overseeing and coordinating the work of external partners for other applications.You monitor competitor patents and industry trends to identify potential risks and opportunities for the company.You evaluate contract terms related to intellectual property and coordinate with the Legal departments for drafting and negotiating those agreements.You develop and conduct training sessions on IP awareness and best practices for employees, fostering a culture of innovation and compliance.
