This position reports to:
Engineering Manager
Your Role and Responsibilities
In this role, you have the opportunity to support the execution of testing activities efficiently and cost-effectively – in accordance with contract requirements, quality standards, safety requirements, as well as cybersecurity policies and standards.
You support test engineers daily during product and system tests. Additionally, you contribute your expertise by preparing standardized test protocols and completing test documentation.
The working model for this role is: on-site
This role contributes to the Motion division in the Untersiggenthal region.
Your main responsibilities include:
Responsible for the operation, maintenance, and optimization of the series test benches – including troubleshooting, modifications, as well as creating and maintaining technical documentation and schematics.
Co-responsible for energy-efficient and economical operation of the test benches, conducting risk assessments, and implementing occupational safety measures.
Training and supporting test bench users as well as coordinating with suppliers and external service providers to ensure smooth operations.
Developing and implementing optimization measures to improve test quality, process reliability, and system availability.
Qualifications for the Role
You have training as a technician in electrical, energy, or systems engineering – alternatively as an automation technician or electrician with willingness to further education.
Ideally, you have experience in setting up electrical test systems (high voltage) as well as in planning and programming PLC controls.
You are confident, assertive, and enjoy working in a team.
German is your working language; good English skills are an advantage.
