We’re looking for a Category Manager who thrives on building long-term strategies, leading negotiations, and fostering supplier relationships.
In this role, you’ll shape the future of key material categories, ensuring our operations run smoothly with the right materials, at the right time, and at the best value — all while promoting quality, compliance, and inclusion.

Location: Remote
How you’ll make an impact:
- Develop and implement long-term category strategies with a focus on innovation and diversity
- Execute sourcing plans including market analysis, category roadmaps, and value chain assessments
- Collaborate with Buyers across Europe to drive alignment and performance
- Build strong supplier relationships to secure competitive pricing and high-quality services
- Lead supplier performance reviews and strategic planning discussions
- Partner with cross-functional teams to guide category-related activities
- Promote continuous improvement initiatives (CIPS) within assigned categories
- Drive cost-reduction efforts through effective negotiations and internal collaboration
Your background:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration / Engineering or relevant experience
- 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing and sound strategic sourcing knowledge, possibly early expertise in category management at regional level
- Proven ability to define and execute sourcing strategies
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Experience with data analysis and forecasting tools
- Ability to lead in a matrixed, multicultural environment
- Fluent English (spoken and written); other languages are a plus
- Willingness to travel (20–30%)
