Administration
Head of blood collections for the cantons of VD and VS
Are you motivated to take on the challenge of ensuring the blood supply for hospitals? Due to a retirement, we are looking for you to take on an important management role. You will be responsible for the collection sites and mobile teams in the cantons of Vaud and Valais, budget management, staff supervision, and quality of services. Workplace in Epalinges, with regular travel to Sion and Bern.
Mission
- Manage the entire sector, with direct supervision of three team leaders and one administrative employee
- Participate in the implementation of the company strategy, corporate culture, and guidelines
- Develop and monitor the budget, promote effective information transfer, and energize collaboration
- Organize and develop blood collections for the two cantons and ensure the necessary number of blood donations
- Supervise planning and clinical activities, ensure the safety of donors, patients, and blood products.
Profile
- Holder of a bachelor’s degree in nursing or an equivalent qualification, complemented by management training
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience and team management
- Leadership, sense of responsibility and communication. Resilience, autonomy, and results orientation
- Rigor and exemplary conduct. Very good command of IT tools
- Native German or French speaker, with excellent knowledge of the other language, essential
- You enjoy contributing your ideas and developing existing processes with the teams.
