We are looking for a Product Owner with a professional industrial background, preferably in the Water/Wastewater industry, to expand and strengthen our Netilion ecosystem within Digital Solutions.
Netilion is a cloud-based Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) ecosystem designed to connect industrial devices, systems, and people. It empowers industries to unlock the full value of data, connecting devices, systems, and people to enable smarter decisions and sustainable operations in the areas of asset and process management.

As member of our team of Product Owners, you will be involved in the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to development and launch. By working in an agile environment, you will be part of a Squad consisting of developers, agile coaches and UX researchers. You will collaborate closely with internal experts, industry partners, and customers to strengthen our value proposition. This role is based in Reinach, Switzerland, reporting to the Chief Product Owner for Digital Services.
Which tasks will you perform?
You will:
- Own and manage the product backlog by creating, prioritizing, and maintaining user stories aligned with the product vision and goals.
- Act as the key liaison between stakeholders and the development team, prioritizing customer problems, assessing product feedback, and deciding on what to focus on.
- Communicate the product vision and roadmap clearly to internal teams and stakeholders and participate in Sprint meetings.
- Conduct market and customer research to identify needs, trends, competitor strategies, and validate innovation opportunities.
- Participate in strategic product planning including annual roadmap alignment, value propositions, business cases, and pricing strategies.
- Support go-to-market activities by collaborating on marketing communications, sales enablement, training, and ensuring portfolio competitiveness.
What do we expect from you?
You:
- Have an industrial background in the Water/Wastewater industry, or alternatively in Food & Beverage, Life Sciences or the Chemical industry.
- Are familiar with software applications in the domains of process automation, asset management, and industrial process management.
- Demonstrate proficiency in developing value propositions, business cases, and user stories.
- Bring experience in business development, product management, sales, or strategic partnerships.
- Possess motivation, ambition, strong interpersonal skills, and be an approachable, communicative personality.
