The Health Directorate of the Canton of Zurich ensures high-quality and safe healthcare.
The Finance Department in the General Secretariat is responsible for the financial management of the directorate and accounting. It is also responsible for the area of individual premium reduction (IPR) and acts as the owner for the four cantonal hospitals.
We are looking for a scientific employee in finance with a focus on IPR, 60 - 90%, to start immediately or by arrangement.
Tasks
You ensure the financial management of the IPR in a small team, further develop the planning tools, and prepare political matters and proposals for the government council. You issue orders to the social insurance institution (SVA) and supervise it. Reporting as well as the preparation of analyses and decision-making bases for the IPR are also part of the tasks of this versatile position. Depending on capacity and interests, you take on additional tasks in the finance area and support management in projects.
Requirements
You have a master's degree preferably in political science, law, economics, or public management and bring several years of professional experience in healthcare and social insurance or administration. You find the efficient way to the relevant information and feel comfortable at the interface between politics and administration. You are used to dealing with contacts at various levels. You enjoy communicating and appreciate a dynamic working environment. You are a team-oriented personality and have an independent and result-oriented working style. You combine your analytical and conceptual skills with implementation strength and have very good editorial skills.
