To strengthen our F&B team, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a Head of Event Service (m/f/d) 60-100%. Please let us know your desired workload, as flexibility is our middle name.
Scope of duties and responsibilities:
- First point of contact for our event guests on site
- Ensuring smooth operational processes within the banquet service department
- Assisting in recruiting, leading, promoting, and motivating the event team as well as the temporary staff pool
- Providing all necessary resources for upcoming events
- Active participation in all tasks in the banquet area – from setup to follow-up of an event
- Ensuring optimal staff deployment planning
- Ensuring high guest satisfaction, comprehensive guest care, and handling complaint management
- Cross-departmental, team-promoting collaboration
- Maintenance of existing inventory and furniture
- Operational support in other outlets if needed
- Participation in the weekly Function Sheet Meeting and F&B Meeting in the absence of the supervisor
- Various administrative tasks
- Creative involvement in the development and implementation of sales and special promotions
- You report directly to the Head of Meetings & Events
Your profile:
- Completed training in hospitality and/or gastronomy, a degree from a recognized hotel management school, or an equivalent qualification
- You have initial leadership experience (duty planning, conducting qualification interviews, etc.) and see yourself as a role model for employees
- You demonstrate charm, social skills, and an authentic, natural friendliness in dealing with guests, supervisors, and employees
- You are characterized by innovative ideas and are an organizational talent
- You always keep an overview and remain calm even during high business volume
- You gladly take on responsibility and have excellent communication skills (D/E, F advantageous) as well as an independent working style
- High flexibility and commitment are a matter of course for you
