Embedded Systems Engineer & Project Coordinator (a) 80-100%

To expand our innovative security solutions, we are looking for reinforcement in the position of Embedded Systems Engineer (a) in the Digital Solutions team.

Unisto is the leading manufacturer of digital security solutions. In addition to electronic devices, Unisto designs, produces, and distributes attractive presentation items worldwide for well-known brand products and manufactures high-quality security seals. We are a long-term oriented, internationally operating family business based at Lake Constance, employing about 130 people in Horn and over 600 worldwide. To complement our Digital Solutions team, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a suitable person as an engineer for our embedded systems with coordination skills (a) 80-100%.

• Coordination of interdisciplinary product development projects (hardware, firmware, mechanics) from conception to successful series maturity (NPI)
• Active participation in various project tasks in electronics, firmware, mechanics, integration, testing, certifications
• Compliance with relevant standards (e.g., MIL-STD-810, CRA) and management of collaboration with external test laboratories
• Active creation and maintenance of FMEAs (Failure Mode and Effects Analyses) as well as comprehensive safety analyses
• Definition of system architecture together with the experts
• System-technical troubleshooting

• Completed engineering degree in systems engineering or mechatronics
• Proven professional experience in embedded systems product development
• Ability to read and interpret circuit diagrams, C code, and technical drawings
• Knowledge and application of standards such as MIL-STD and current cybersecurity standards (CRA, IEC 62443)
• Experience in leading interdisciplinary projects
