Numerous events and a wide cultural offer make Volkshaus a lively meeting point in the heart of Zurich. Our modern banquet and event rooms offer space for around 2,000 guests – at over 2,500 events per year. Whether concerts, comedy, conferences or banquets: we are one of the most important event locations in the city.
To strengthen our team, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a committed personality in the area of reception & service 80–100% (m/f/d) employment on an hourly wage basis
What you bring
• Completed training as a restaurant specialist EFZ or equivalent experience
• Confident handling of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Very good German skills in spoken and written
• Friendly, well-groomed appearance and confident manners
Your tasks
• Planning the daily service operation in coordination with the restaurant management
• Receiving and organizing reservations
• Welcoming, seating and attending to our guests
• Active participation in service during operating hours
Ideally, you also bring
• Enjoyment of guest contact and a warm, open manner

• Team spirit, personal responsibility and a high quality awareness
