To strengthen our team in the psychiatric emergency department, we are looking for you immediately or by arrangement as
Tasks
- You work in a 24-hour/7-day shift system and are the first point of contact for people in a crisis situation.
- You advise people with a mental illness by phone or on site and document the conversations.
- You quickly assess the situation based on the information received and organize appointments for emergency consultations if necessary.
- You are the first point of contact for emergency services, referrers, caregivers, relatives, and institutions.
- Outside office hours and on weekends, you are involved in triage and disposition of patients and take on organizational tasks.
- In crisis situations, you act competently and provide security to all involved.
Profile
- You have several years of experience in acute psychiatry and basic knowledge in somatics.
- You like to work independently, are responsible, decisive, and proactive.
- You bring a high level of professional and social competence.
- You enjoy interprofessional and cross-departmental collaboration.
- You keep a clear head in difficult situations, are solution-oriented, and can set priorities.
- You are confident in using common office applications.
