Our fully linked enamelling line at the headquarters in Zug is one of the most complex production systems in the company. A conveyor chain of over 1,000 metres connects several plant areas – from the cooking chamber welding system and pretreatment through dryers, three powder lines, the curing oven to the Topclean coating and the Topclean oven. This position offers you

• You coordinate around seven plant operators professionally in day-to-day business, set priorities, assign workplaces and ensure that the line runs safely, efficiently and with the required quality
• You actively work on the line, support the team with technical and procedural questions and coordinate closely with the team leader on the daily programme, resources and escalations
• You systematically analyse malfunctions, independently resolve them within your area of responsibility and involve internal or external specialists if necessary
• You adjust robot programmes, plant controls and coating parameters and continuously develop them further
• After careful and practical training by our existing technical specialist, you gradually take on technical responsibility for further plant areas
• With growing plant knowledge, you develop into a central technical contact person for the entire enamelling line and continuously expand your area of responsibility
• You participate in maintenance, conversions and technical measures and actively contribute to the further development of plants, processes and systems
• You can expect a lot of creative freedom at the interface of production, robotics, process optimisation and professional coordination – with direct impact on the quality, stability and performance of the plant
• In addition, you maintain plant, training and process documentation and ensure a clean and well-organised work area

You bring to the position

• You have completed a technical apprenticeship – for example as a plant operator EFZ, automation technician EFZ, polymechanic EFZ or mechatronics technician – or have a comparable education
• Ideally, you bring at least three years of practical experience with complex, automated production plants. It is crucial that you know technical dependencies within a connected plant from your own experience
• You have practical experience in robot programming and/or plant controls and want to deepen your knowledge further. Knowledge in powder coating, enamelling or surface treatment is a plus
• You approach malfunctions systematically and factually, remain calm under time pressure and do not lose overview when several issues require attention simultaneously
• You communicate clearly and appreciatively, take professional responsibility and provide reliable guidance to plant operators in day-to-day business. Very good German skills are required
• You have a high IT affinity, are familiar with complex plant controls and enjoy not only understanding processes but actively improving them. The development into a technical specialist for the entire enamelling line motivates you
