The History Section of the Faculty of Letters at the University of Lausanne is offering a position for a graduate assistant in Modern History (16th - early 19th centuries).
Job Information
Start date: September 1, 2026
Contract duration: 1 year, renewable 2 x 2 years, maximum 5 years
Work rate: 80%
Workplace: Lausanne-Dorigny
Your Activities
At least 50% of the work rate will be dedicated to completing a doctoral thesis.
Up to 50% of the work rate will be devoted to supporting teaching and research tasks.
Your Profile
Master of Arts (or equivalent degree) in history (degree obtained at the time of starting the position).
Willingness to develop a thesis in/on modern history (16th - early 19th centuries).
Candidates must show an interest in research and teaching.
