In the role of Process Engineer for BiMOS Backend, you will contribute to the advancement of our automated semiconductor production. You’ll have the opportunity to improve existing manufacturing processes and lead innovative development projects, with a particular focus on automation and metal joining technologies.
How you’ll make an impact

Improve the capability and quality of bonding and welding processes, by applying data analysis tools and designed experiments

Analyze production data to optimize performance, identify long-term trends, and prevent potential failures

Work on new automated production systems, improving production capacity and quality

Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis to maintain and improve production throughput

Collaborate to new product development by shaping the production process landscape and enabling volume manufacturing
Your background
-
A master’s degree in industrial, mechanical, electrical, or chemical engineering, or a related field

Several years of experience in an automated production environment, ideally within the semiconductor industry

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a quality-focused mindset, and a proactive, hands-on approach

Familiarity with DoE, data analysis, Six Sigma methodologies, and production statistics is a plus
-
Proficiency in both German and English
