For our international destination marketing, we are looking for an enthusiastic individual to start immediately or by arrangement as

Manager Markets (100%)

As Manager Markets, the focus is on the active management and further development of defined national and international markets. The position combines strategic and operational marketing and sales activities with personal market presence and relationship management.

Your tasks - versatile & responsible

• Planning, coordination and implementation of marketing activities, promotions, campaigns and events at home and abroad
• Active representation of the Interlaken holiday region at trade events, workshops and on sales trips at home and abroad
• Building and maintaining long-term relationships with partners, tour operators, media professionals
• Conceptualisation, coordination and implementation of market-specific campaigns and projects with internal teams and external partners
• Organisation and accompaniment of media and study trips as well as support for international guests on site
• Monitoring market, customer and tourism trends and incorporating relevant insights into market development

Your profile - confident in negotiation, committed & flexible

• Training in tourism, marketing or sales; practical experience in tourism marketing is an advantage
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Confident and convincing manner in dealing with different cultures and stakeholders
• Very good German and English skills; additional languages are an advantage
• Independent and structured working style, high flexibility, resilience and organisational skills
• Willingness to travel regularly at home and abroad as well as to work on weekends and outside usual working hours
• Connection to the Interlaken holiday region and interest in the tourism industry
