As a junior doctor in the Centre for Geriatric Medicine, you can contribute to everyday work, actively participate in the medical team, and gain valuable experience.

Your Tasks

• You accompany and support our assistant doctors during admission examinations, conduct geriatric assessments, ward rounds, and administrative tasks.
• If desired and suitable, you can independently care for inpatients under supervision.
• As a student, you will be closely accompanied and supported by the assistant doctor as well as the senior doctor. This allows you to gain your first practical experience in caring for geriatric, multimorbid, or seriously ill patients in the palliative care ward.
• Insight into outpatient dementia assessment, consultation service, and participation in the care of residents in long-term care is possible.

Your Profile

• You are studying human medicine at a university.
• You can integrate into operational processes, show interest, and have a friendly manner with patients, staff, and supervisors.
• Very good German language skills in spoken and written form (at least level C1).
