The business area Planning and Projects of the Civil Engineering Office includes the specialist areas of Traffic and Roads, Urban Drainage and Water Bodies, Road Inspection as well as Urban Greenery. The employees manage projects, process building applications, and develop concepts for the development of Thun's infrastructures.
We are looking for a
Your tasks:
- Construction management and overall construction management for the implementation of infrastructure projects from SIA phase 4 and responsibility for timely and quality-compliant realization.
- Planning, organizing, and monitoring resource and time planning, including commissioning and documentation.
- Coordination of construction projects in public spaces as well as ensuring smooth traffic management during construction phases.
- Planning and quality control of maintenance projects as well as checking signage and traffic safety at construction sites.
- Ensuring needs-based and timely communication to internal and external stakeholders.
You bring with you:
- Preferably training in civil engineering – e.g., technician HF, construction supervisor, master builder, or a bachelor's degree in civil engineering – as well as experience in project management.
- Knowledge of SIA processes and standards as well as knowledge of the guidelines of VSS, VSA, and other professional associations.
- Professional appearance, resilience, reliability, as well as strong communication and organizational skills.
- Independent working style, networked thinking, and willingness to contribute your expertise in cross-departmental projects.
- Advanced MS Office skills and willingness to continuously develop your know-how.
