We are looking for a senior Oracle eBusiness Suite (OeBS) functional consultant to strengthen the teams working on ongoing projects and the evolutionary maintenance of OeBS applications within our client's organization. You will join a team of 10 passionate professionals including project managers, service managers, and developers. Your main tasks will be to elicit requirements and perform analyses or design solutions to meet business needs. Your expertise will be essential to foster collaboration between stakeholders, including business contacts from various departments of our client.
Main activities
▪ Be the finance functional referent within various OeBS projects:
- Accounting integration of the guardianship management application within an OEBS 12.2 instance
- Technical migration of OEBS instance 11.5.10 to 12.2
- Functional study on the new features of release 12.2.14
▪ Conduct functional analyses based on business specifications, identify solutions and associated risks, validate and justify the choice of a solution.
▪ Ensure compliance with Oracle E-Business Suite ERP best practices and internal rules
▪ Write functional specifications
▪ Perform functional configuration in the application
▪ Write and monitor the execution of test scenarios
▪ Support users during testing phases
▪ Provide precise and regular reporting to project managers on work progress, remaining tasks, escalate and track identified risks
Requirements
Bachelor's degree from a university of applied sciences or a computer science degree, EPF engineering degree, or federal diploma
Essential skills (5 years of experience or more in the role)
▪ Mastery of accounting and management control principles and/or their processes.
▪ Significant experience with OeBS modules (GL, AP, AR, PO, PA, FA) in integration projects and/or in TMA, preferably on on-premise version 12.2.
Important skills
▪ Mastery of Business Analysis techniques
▪ Expertise in eliciting business requirements
▪ Expertise in designing solutions that leverage as much as possible the standard functionalities of the OeBS software package
▪ Knowledge of the Swiss context, in accounting and cash flow domains.
▪ Good knowledge of the OeBS data model for Finance modules.
▪ Mastery of SQL and autonomy with tools like SQL Developer.
▪ Knowledge of OeBS open interfaces (AP/AR/GL), and experience implementing interfaces with satellite applications.
