Research Associate at the Center for Learning and Socialization (50%)
University of Teacher Education FHNW, Institute for Research and Development
Your tasks:
As a research associate, you will conduct a development project in collaboration with the co-leader of the center to create and test materials for teachers to promote social-emotional competencies in the classroom. In doing so, you can acquire new skills in a current, innovative field and further develop yourself in a supportive, dynamic team.
- Review of existing concepts and support measures in the field of social-emotional learning in an international context (mainly German and English)
- Development of didactically designed materials for educational professionals on the topic, testing in further training
- Writing overview texts/reports for teachers
- Preparing materials for the further training of educational professionals
- Leading in-school and short-term training sessions
Your profile:
- Master's degree in educational sciences, psychology, or social sciences
- Teaching diploma, several years of professional experience as a teacher and/or school special educator
- Experience in teacher training/adult education desired
- Prior knowledge in the field of social-emotional learning desired
