We at the Cantonal Victim Support Office are responsible for ensuring that victims of violent crimes receive the necessary support. We assess applications for financial victim assistance based on the Victim Assistance Act in a written administrative procedure and are also responsible for supervising and financing the recognized victim counseling centers.
To strengthen our 7-member "Financial Assistance" team, we are looking immediately/by arrangement, temporarily for two years (with the option of permanent employment) for a

What you can achieve with us
- Independent processing of applications for financial assistance (case management, issuance of orders and preliminary decisions, monitoring of payments)
- Telephone and written communication with applicants, victim counseling centers, and lawyers
- Drafting statements in appeal procedures
- Participation in the development of guidelines and information sheets as well as in projects
- Examination of recourse in the provision of victim assistance benefits
You fit with us if you
- have completed your law studies (MLaw, lic.iur.)
- have several years of professional experience at the court, in criminal prosecution, or in administration and are familiar with drafting decisions
- enjoy criminal law and have an interest in liability and social insurance law issues and are willing to engage deeply in victim assistance law and the corresponding practice
- have excellent German skills and editorial skills
- are decisive and enjoy working independently and precisely
- have an understanding of the difficult situations of victims and want to contribute actively.
