Ensuring electricity in Switzerland

In this exciting role, you play a central part in the financial management of Swissgrid and take on the following tasks, among others:

• Responsibility for the preparation of forecasts, budgets, and medium-term planning at the overall company level as well as the creation of presentations and proposals for the Executive Board and Board of Directors
• Analysis, documentation, and implementation of changes in legal and regulatory requirements in financial planning and reporting
• Preparation of tariff calculations and transparent reporting to internal and external stakeholders
• Ensuring the quality of financial statements: participation, coordination, and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Closing tasks, reporting, and commentary on net revenues and procurement expenses
• Conducting thorough financial analyses and preparing proposals, reports, and decision-making bases tailored to the audience
• Transparent management of cost and value flows as well as preparation of the annual cost accounting
• Derivation, implementation, and monitoring of measures to manage corporate finances
• Sparring partner for executives in all financial matters
• Initiator for the further development of reporting and controlling processes, including digitization and automation

• Completed university degree (Master in Business Administration, Finance, Controlling, or a comparable field)
• Several years of professional experience in controlling or financial management in a regulated environment in the energy sector
• Solid knowledge of accounting, financial planning, and analysis
• Strong analytical skills and strong conceptual thinking ability
• Proactive and implementation-strong in further developments
• Affinity for digitization, process optimization, and modern reporting tools
• High consulting competence and the ability to act as a sparring partner on equal footing with executives
• Very good German language skills
