Youth work is embedded within the social services department's society division, together with school social work, the childcare specialist office, and the regional integration specialist office.
For our youth work team, we are looking for a youth worker (60%) starting August 1, 2026, or by arrangement.
Your area of responsibility
Together with two team colleagues, you will supervise existing offers such as the youth center, Lenzburg SportsNite, girls' work, youth office, or pocket money jobs and further develop them with innovative ideas.
You are jointly responsible for planning, organizing, and carrying out various project work as well as events with and by young people.
You accompany and advise young people in a low-threshold manner on personal, family, and professional issues.
Participation in the further development of youth promotion as well as public relations and networking work in and around Lenzburg complete your varied area of activity.

What you bring with you
We are looking for a creative, warm, and team-oriented personality with a completed education in the social field FH/HF (sociocultural animation, social pedagogy, or social work).
You have already gained professional experience with young people, ideally in open youth work, and have a fine sense for the different target groups. Working hours are regularly from Wednesday to Friday evening, and you are flexible for occasional weekend assignments.
You meet our young people at eye level as well as with patience, humor, and assertiveness. You inspire them with your personality and your professional actions for projects and events.
